Day 19 of my Artist’s Way challenge.
And today marks 3 years since I made the hardest decision of my life.

I checked myself into the hospital.
I was at rock bottom—lost, numb, broken.
And it saved my life.

That moment started the divorce process.
It also started my healing.
It started my awakening.

Three years later, I’m still here. Still healing.
Closer than ever to the man I want to be.

Presence. Intention. Integrity.
That’s my path.
And I can truly say I'm the happiest I have been in a very very long time.

Day 18 of my Artist’s Way challenge, and today I

Day 18 of my Artist’s Way challenge, and today I’m sitting with a big question:
What does it mean to be a man?

I brought that question into men’s group this morning, and it cracked something open.

For me, being a man means showing up—with presence, integrity, and courage—especially as a father. Because my kids are watching. My daughter is learning what to expect from future partners. My son is learning how to show up in the world.

For me, being a man isn’t about doing more—it’s about being more present.

So I’m curious… how do you define what it means to be a man? Whether you identify as one or not, I’d love to hear your perspective.

17 of my Artist’s Way challenge—and today, I’m running on empty.

Missed a video yesterday. Had a full day of solo parenting, potlucks, chess battles, and barely a moment to catch my breath.

Today? I’m drained. Not in a creative flow. Not on my game. But I still showed up.

And that’s what this challenge is teaching me:
That even when the spark isn’t there… presence matters.
Discipline matters.
Grace matters.
